WU LYF have debuted a new song as part of a live session at Maida Vale studios. Written following a trip to NYC, the band’s softer voiced bassist Tom McClung takes the lead on a stripped back track, asking “Brooklyn Girls, how do you like me now?”. Fittingly, the band played the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn last week to great reviews. Elsewhere in the session the band performed a version of L Y F, a standout track from the album ‘Go Tell Fire To The Mountain’. If you haven’t heard it live yet (and you should) WU LYF tour the US, UK and rest of Europe in October and November. Tracks and dates below.
