Supporting one of the most loved alternative bands in the country must be quite a formidable task for any new band but, by all accounts, Toy don’t seem too fazed by stepping out in front of The Horrors’ loyal fans (or the big stages that come with the job). It’s a self-assurance that translates to their debut single ‘Left Myself Behind’/'Clock Chime’, two sides of swirling, shoegazing psych rock that initially invites comparisons to Toy’s tour hosts but then transcend them entirely.
