Onoe Caponoe – Willows Midnight Gallery LP

West London wordsmith Onoe Caponoe has released his second solo LP, the excellently titled Willows Midnight Gallery, unto the world, and lo, it is good. A dreamy Lewis Carrol-ish wander into the young spitters mind, with druggy, spaced out instrumentals, and peculiar but coherent bars. What’s really impressive is the way Onoe rides over the beats, every word and phrase fitting in the right place, an excellent flow that’s rare in – for NEED of a better word – ‘UK rap’.
