Earlier today Robyn covered Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall, the latest song from Coldplay, in the Radio One Live Lounge. Remodelled into a storming disco track, “I turn the music up, and heaven is in sight” could well by a lyric from Body Language and she even makes the mega cringey “I’d rather by a comma than a full stop” sound (almost) passable. Like our favourite Robyn tracks, she gives it that ‘end of the disco’ feel, making for fragile and inspirational pop that’s, in our opinion, much better than the original. Listen to both, below.
