Just over a month ago, Klaxons broke their three year silence by stomping back onto the musical landscape with the thunderous “‘Flashover’”:http://www.abeano.com/blog/new-klaxons-flashover. Since then, they’ve unveiled “some feline friendly artwork”:http://strangeglue.com/show_image/1276692609/472.jpg” /> and showcased new album ‘Surfing the Void’ at some low key shows around the Home Counties.
Whereas ‘Flashover’ was a spiky, thrashy return, ‘Echoes’ is a way mellower follow-up that fits in snugly with ‘Myths of the Near Future’ material. Not a million miles away from ‘Golden Skans’, it’s almost certainly going to be one of the highlights of Klaxons’ headlining set at Reading and Leeds next month.
