Jamie XX – Numbers Rinse FM Mix w/Jackmaster + Spencer

Jamie XX joined Jackmaster and Spencer for a Numbers family get together on Rinse FM last night. Celebrating his 12″ debut on the label he went in the mix, opening with some words from Gil Scott Heron. What followed was classic Jamie, including the 20th Century Steel Band’s Heaven and Hell (used in the past by Jennifer Lopez, Salt n Pepa and Lauryn Hill), tracks from Sylvester (I Need Somebody to Love Tonight), Lil Wayne and Drake with added steel pans (Right Above It) and mixed versions of Far Nearer and Beat For. The Numbers boys played tunes from Jacques Greene, Zomby and more. We highly recommend listening below or downloading it from the Numbers blog.

The single Far Nearer / Beat for is out now from record shops or http://farnearer.com/
