Jack White – Love Interruption

Jack White is back on his own (there’s not a Raconteur, Dead Weather, Insane Clown or Tom Jones to be seen) for a new track ‘Love Interruption’. With gloomy lyrics (“leave me dying on the ground” he wails) and no Meg for company, it’s serious stuff but – from the rumours we’ve heard – there are some brilliant, upbeat things to come. While this is out on 7th February backed by b-side ‘Machine Gun Silhouette’, the new Album ‘Blunderbuss’ is available April 23rd via Third Man. White describes it as “an album I couldn’t have released until now. I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.”
