::: We don’t plan on releasing many records via Abeano. In fact we didn’t plan on releasing ‘New Brigade’. It just seemed crazy to me that one of the best albums of 2011 wasn’t widely available in the UK. So I decided to do put it out. If we release any more records in the future, it will obviously only be ones that blow our tiny minds.
Now, we’re definitely not the first blog to release records, but some of you might be understandably concerned about us maintaining editorial independence.
All I can do is assure you that we will continue to enthuse about the best new music around and on the rare instances we’re involved we’ll make it clear that is the case, probably using a symbol like this .
