Super new exotic pop creators “Get People”:http://www.myspace.com/getpeople found their way onto our radar a couple of months ago now, impressing us with their tribal rhythms and sweet, shiny uber-pop vocals. Back then, they felt it was too early for the blogosphere to get involved, asking us (very politely) if we’d mind holding off until they were ready. Not wanting to be like a pushy would-be lover, we agreed and distracted ourselves with other pursuits, like making podcasts and things.
Now, they’re ready but they’re still being a little coy. The only info we’ve managed to glean from them so far is their names are Caspar, Dom and Martin and they see themselves as makers of pop/tropical/electronica. You can catch them dropping bangers (possibly) at some DJ sets they’ve got booked but you won’t be able to experience the Get People live extravaganza until September. It seems these boys like to take things nice and easy….
