We’ve already heard two tracks from Django Django’s forthcoming debut album in the siren’s call of the now ancient ‘WOR‘ (we first blogged about it last year) and the metamorphic ‘Waveforms‘. ‘Default’ is the latest to join the heard list and it’s probably the best thing we’ve heard from the East London band so far. Clicking and jerking, it rocks back and forth through vigorous rhythms pushing the desire to explore and Vincent Neff’s narrative. In short, it’s an art-rock masterpiece doused in thrilling tension and exhilarating fun.
‘Default’ is released on January 23rd via Because Music. The album Django Django is released a week later on January 30th.
