Surprise of the weekend - New Franz Ferdinand/ Jack White joins Last Shadow Puppets posted by Imran on 30 June 2008
There were some really great surprise acts up at The Park stage at this year’s Glasto. I found The Last Shadow Puppets gig on the Saturday night a wee bit underwhelming. Jack White’s cameo, on TLSP’s cover of Billy Fury’s ‘Wondrous Place’ was the best thing about it, specifically, his sexy mooch off stage…watch it here
By contrast, Franz Ferdinand’s Friday night set was incredible. Here’s a new song from that set ‘Katherine Kiss Me’
By golly, we’ve missed them.
