Here’s a full on tropicalia-psych-cabaret video from Cibelle’s post-apocalyptic alter-ego Sonja Khalecallon. Playing with her cabaret band Los Stroboscopious Luminous, she takes on ’50s exotica/electronic music pioneer Raymond Scott’s ‘Lightworks’, better known as one of Dilla’s classics ‘Donuts’. Trippy, tropical and proof that Cibelle is really at the top of her game, it’s a magical blend of new visual media and her sense of fun experimentation.
