Now, life on the promo treadmill isn’t fun for most bands. The constant performances, mind numbing interviews, repeated questions – it’s enough to try the patience of the most cerebral bands.
I guess when you’re performing at MTV Brasil in front of an audience of many millions though, you shouldn’t be seen to be acting with complete contempt for your audience. Though I’m sure that’s not what was intend. The boo at the end of Bloc Party’s performance of ‘Banquet’ is amazing.
