As sophisticated and elegant as we’ve come to expect from Bob and Catherine, it whips from pure, bare-faced beauty to fantastically, strikingly glammed-up with a dramatic billow of Cat’s long, brown hair. “I want you more than I think you do”, she purrs over shuffling twilight beats, as the screen flickers between before and after images. The serene pay-off of “I was blinded by you but now I can see through” echoes through the metropolitan bass hum to wrap up Alpines’ potential as the UK’s next great edgy pop band.
