About Me
Abeano Music is a record label run by me from my flat in Clapton, East London.
Here is the story so far…
I am a recovering journalist, having written for NME, Blender, The Guardian Guide and The Face (RIP) amongst others.
I had a brief career on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, the highlight of which was interviewing ‘World Hold On’ – era Bob Sinclair.
I used to spend my Saturday nights running FROG. @ Astoria 2 . Nowadays I help the people of PUSH put on a great party.
I am most proud of being the first person to play Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’ on the radio before anyone else.
I am least proud of that rave review of The Crescent I once wrote.
But all anyone ever wants to know is why Dave Grohl threw a can of beer at my head.
